The Brief

We were asked to create a unique retail proposition that covered all aspects of the customer experience and subsequently to create a retail model which be easy to use and easy to update.  This would be used as the key reference point for all departments to ensure a consistent roll out and delivery.

What We Did

Having worked with internal teams and external designers / agencies and suppliers to create all the elements of the retail offer, we designed a simple yet comprehensive model.  This was based on familiar software which would be easy to update and be used as standalone or via the central GK database.  


Every small detail of the retail offer was categorised and a simple “big button” navigation screen was created so that all users were able to quickly access the required information.  Every element was backed up with reference materials including photographs, video clips and artwork where relevant.  The simple menu approach meant that information access was only ever a few mouse clicks away.


All content was meticulously planned allowing for easy updating by the internal GK teams.

The Outcome

The model was extremely well received by all users.  It was used to brief designers, unit managers and all support functions and became the definitive guide to rolling out the detailed retail concept.


The easy update approach allowed for expensive paper based “manuals” to be completely replaced by this digital model.
